Dr. William Anthony Wiltshire, known as Billy, qualified as a dentist at the University of Pretoria, where he also completed his BChD (Honores) with Dental Biomaterials as his major, graduating cum laude. He furthered his education with a Master's degree in Restorative Dentistry, focusing on Resin Bonded Bridges, and received the M. Dent with honors. Dr. Wiltshire then pursued a specialty Master's degree in Orthodontics, obtaining the MChD(Orth) from the University of Pretoria in 1989. He later earned a Doctorate in Science (DSc(Odont)) for his research work on "Restorative and Orthodontic Perspectives of Clinical Dentistry." Academically, Dr. Wiltshire served as Professor and Head of the Department of Orthodontics at the University of Pretoria before relocating to Canada. He attained Fellowship in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and is also a Fellow of the World Federation of Orthodontists. Clinically, Dr. Wiltshire practices as a registered and licensed orthodontic specialist with Kids Dental and the multi-disciplinary Southwest Specialty Group practice in Tuxedo, Winnipeg. He is licensed as a specialist orthodontist in Canada with the Manitoba Dental Association and in the United Kingdom with the General Dental Council, and he is eligible for registration in South Africa.
