Dr. John Campbell, born and raised in Winnipeg, decided to follow in his father's footsteps and pursue orthodontics. He graduated from The University of Manitoba Faculty of Dentistry and completed an internship in pediatric dentistry at the Health Sciences Centre. He then enrolled in the graduate program at The University of Manitoba for his orthodontic specialty education, earning his Master of Science and specialty certificate in orthodontics. Dr. Campbell returned to the University of Manitoba as a clinical instructor, teaching orthodontics to second-year dental students. He is passionate about teaching and enjoys helping people understand their orthodontic treatment. Dr. Campbell has always sought to improve his orthodontic treatments and has been an early adopter of passive self-ligating braces. He prioritizes achieving broad full smiles for his patients without needing to extract teeth whenever possible. Besides orthodontics, Dr. Campbell's other passion is philosophy, and he is currently writing a book on the meaning of life.
