Dr. Ronald Skorpad earned his Dentistry degree from the University of Manitoba in 1982. During his studies, he received the Dr. Joseph Freeman Memorial Book Prize in Oral Surgery and the Mary Jane Ego Scholarship in Oral Surgery. He completed his General Practice Residency at St Vincent de Paul Hospital in affiliation with the University of Montreal’s graduate dental programs. Throughout his career, Dr. Skorpad has been involved in dental public health and private practice. He served as the Dental Consultant for the Government of Manitoba’s Department of Family Services and the City of Winnipeg. Additionally, he worked as a staff Dentist at Meno Ya Win Hospital in Sioux Lookout, providing dental surgical procedures for children in need. Dr. Skorpad has provided general practice services for many years and continues to attend advanced level courses and lectures. Currently, he works part-time in a clinic, offering emergency assessments, treatment for para-functional habits, and limited general dentistry. Dr. Skorpad also holds Bachelor of Science degrees from the University of Manitoba and the University of North Dakota, graduating Tau Beta Pi.
