Birthdays come but once a year and this one was very special to the Cholakis Dental family, because this year we joined together to celebrate Dr. Ernest Cholakis’ 60th!

The party planning began in earnest several weeks prior and it was a monumental task to keep the secret from our friend and leader, but in the end no one spilled the beans and Ernest wasn’t suspicious of anything. So much so, that we almost couldn’t get him to come to the clinic for the surprise!

Last Friday, as we gathered family, friends, and staff together at our Tuxedo clinic location, Ernest was completing his last patient appointments at our new InStyle Dental location in Polo Park, none the wiser.

But disaster struck when Ernest decided to head home after his long day and prepare for a trip to the lake that evening.

With some quick thinking, Ernest’s sister Anna (who just so happened to be in town) was able to coax Ernest to the clinic under the pretense of helping select fabric for our waiting room upholstery. ;)

The entire evening was a great success with many laughs for times we’ve shared together and smiles for the road ahead!

We’d like wish Dr. Cholakis a happy birthday, and say thank you to all the wonderful people that made the evening so memorable.
